Past Experience – A Journey of Service, Leadership, and Clinical Impact

Ron’s career began with a foundation in science and psychology, earning an Associate Degree in Natural Sciences from Jackson College, followed by a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance from North Eastern Missouri State College. He was quickly recruited by the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served in the Federal Court in Detroit, investigating and apprehending individuals involved in federal crimes.

Seeking a more direct way to help people, Ron returned to Michigan State University to pursue nursing and eventually became a Nurse Practitioner. He quickly found success in clinical practice, taking over a growing medical office and managing patient care with the support of several physicians. His leadership and commitment to excellence sustained the practice through periods of transition, staffing changes, and expansion.

After briefly stepping into retirement, Ron’s passion for helping others brought him back to medicine—first through occupational health, and later, to his current home at Katranji Hand Center, where his experience and empathy continue to make a lasting impact.
